Junior Michala Hedelund Jensen picked up CU’s lone singles point as Boise State routed the Buffs 6-1 at The Meadows Club in Boulder.
Sunday’s matches were a different story than the previous meet for the Buffs (1-1) who arrived at Boulder with a road victory at Colorado Springs. Boise State (2-0) improved after defeating Denver 5-2 on January 21.
Hedelund Jensen picked up her eight career win in three-set matches.
The Buffs dropped doubles points in two of three matches. The duo of junior Ania Anuszkiewicz and sophomore Erin Sanders picked up the doubles points for the Buffs.
“This is a great group of girls to work with,” CU Head Coach Nicole Kenneally said in a news release. “Every match is going to be a discovery for us and the season is going to be a process and excited for that time.”
Colorado will host Utah at The Meadows Club in Boulder on Feb. 5 as they begin a four-match game streak.
“Every day we keep learning about ourselves as a team and as individuals,” Kenneally said. “We have two weeks before our next match, and we’re excited to get to work and to practice for Utah.”
