MONDAY
Guest Recital: Ole Bohn, violin
Ole Bohn has traveled all the way from Oslo, Norway to Boulder and will perform from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Imig Music. Bohn is the concertmaster of the Norwegian National Opera. He has also held similarly prestigious positions with the Copenhagen Symphony Orchestra and other Norwegian theaters and operas. This event is free and open to the public.
TUESDAY
Trike Night at the Dark Horse
Let out the kid in you by racing adult-sized tricycles around the Dark Horse to win cool prizes. Races begin at 9 p.m. and last until 2 a.m. Also, don’t miss out on the drink specials happening all night long.
Fall Tree Walk
Observe the fall’s changing colors and learn about CU Boulder’s extensive collection of native and rare trees. Our campus is home to Colorado’s oldest cottonwood and has a variety of species imported from all over the world. The walk departs from the south side of the CU Museum of Natural History in the Henderson building on Broadway at 5 p.m. and lasts for approximately 90 minutes. “Shut Up Little Man! An Audio Misadventure” presented by IFS
Eddie and Mitchell had no idea what they were getting themselves into when they began recording the extraordinary fights between their next-door neighbors. This documentary film shows what going viral meant, before viral even existed. Come check out the free screening at CU’s International Film Series in the VAC Auditorium at 7 p.m.
Ladies’ Night at Absinthe House
Thursday night means Ladies’ Night at Absinthe House with your favorite campus news team, CU Independent! Women drink free from 10 p.m. to midnight, with dollar wells for men. Be sure to check out Absinthe’s new arcade setup, and stop by the CU Independent table for free stuff and conversation with our editors.
FRIDAY
“Waiting for Lefty”
CU Department of Theatre and Dance presents Clifford Odets’ “Waiting for Lefty” at the University Theater. This is a show inspired by true events and explores that struggles of equal rights during the Depression era. Show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $12 for students and can be purchased at the campus box office or online at the department website.
International Coffee Hour
Check out this free event that takes place every Friday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. across from Baby Doe’s in the UMC Grill. Enjoy free refreshments and learn about cultures from all over the world. Click here for more details.

Boulder Philharmonic presents Music of The Beatles: Classical Mystery Tour
