With ski season rapidly approaching, students are beginning to bundle up in new fall fashions. Sweaters, scarves and boots are replacing the mini skirt, tank top and flip-flop style of the summer for girls. Here is a look at some of CU’s most fashionable students and where they are getting their clothes.

Isabelle Kohn, a 19-year-old sophomore integrative physiology major, said she buys most of her clothes at Urban Outfitters.
Kohn was seen in a dazzling Lux grey knit sweater and Beg dark-blue skinny jeans with Aldo light-brown leather sequined boots. She was also wearing an ivory shark tooth necklace with a gold chain and a brown Hobo over-the-shoulder bag.
“I got it from my aunt,” Kohn said. “It’s from the 1960s.”
With layered golden brown hair, Kohn’s style could best be described as “sexy chic.”

Audrey Polito, a 21-year-old senior speech, language and hearing sciences major, said she also shops at Urban Outfitters.
Polito showed off a rayon black light sweater and grey tank top with silver and gold trimmings on top, as well as a shiny silver and gold viscose scarf, all from Urban Outfitters. Her earrings were shiny posts from Urban Outfitters as well.
Polito also wore black leggings from American Apparel and light brown buckled boots. With her dirty blond hair pinned up, Polito’s style is also chic and glamorous.

Jadd Tank, a 21-year-old senior international affairs and dance major, also stood out for his fashion sense.
Tank was seen flaunting tight black Zara jeans and a black Zara pea coat. Under his pea coat, he wore a grey and white striped hoodie, with the hood up. Tank stood out with his traditional red converse high-top sneakers. In a word, Tank’s style screams “individualist.”
“I look for something edgy and different,” Tank said, “Not the common style.”
Paulo Escobar, a 17-year-old freshman open-option major, also looked stylish but went for a more simple, classic look.
Escobar sported a red and white thermal Hawk shirt and faded Levi jeans. He also wore broken-in sneakers and a simple belt. Escobar’s style is classic and warm.

Wearing a multi-colored scarf, George Guyver, a 23-year-old senior integrative physiology major, stands out in a crowd. Guyver’s scarf is from India and so are his black Italian leather-heeled boots. He also wore a green long-sleeve collared top and beige corduroy pants. Topping off his look was a black Gap newspaper delivery cap. Guyver’s look says “world traveler” or “artist.”
“I don’t often look for clothes,” Guyver said. “But when I do, I mostly look for comfort. I felt like dressing like this today.”
Lauren Raponi, a 19-year-old freshman open-option major, showed off a look that resembled a modern Romanian princess.

Raponi wore a short knit grey dress with three buttons down the center with a tight black long-sleeved shirt underneath, both from Forever 21. She also wore tight black leggings from Target and black knit UGG boots. The front of her blond loose curls were pinned back.
“I love dresses and cute tops,” Raponi said.
