Fall fashions and colors for this season change with the leaves
This season’s fashion trends are a composite of what has been “in” for the last few seasons.
“This season, everything goes,” said Heather Baringer, 32, store manager of Sunneshine Couture Ltd. on Pearl Street.
For women like those who are frequent visitors of sites such as Women’s Clothing Online, a mix of some older trends like skinny-leg jeans, high-rise, low-rise, trouser jeans and leggings are popular. Some more recent trends you’ll see this season are tunics, sequins, long sweater coats and tights.
“Men’s clothing is still fitted, but going for ‘classic with a twist,'” said John Schopbach, 43, the store owner of Weekends on Pearl Street Mall.
This season you cannot forget about color. Grey, chocolate brown, olive green, jewel tones and subdued colors are all making headway in the stores this season.
“Grey this season is really the dominant color, whether charcoal, dark grey, light grey or any shade between is good,” said Daphne Herrick, 45, women’s clothing shopper at Weekends.
Fabrics are also becoming important; the more comfortable the better. This season’s “in” luxury fabrics are cashmere and leather.
When it comes to living in Boulder, looking good while keeping warm is a must. Luckily, this season, boots are back. Any style from mid-calf to above the knee are in.
To complete your perfect fall ensemble, do not forget to accessorize. Beautiful necklaces like sterling silver chains for women, earrings, patent leather bags and totes for women-rings and scarves add that extra something.
