The University of Colorado Buffaloes jumped out to an early lead but had to hold off a comeback by the University of California Golden Bears to win 59-56 in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas.
Askia Booker led the Buffs for the second time this tournament, scoring 17 points and adding 3 assists. Three other players were in double-digit scoring: Xavier Talton with 13, Josh Scott with 11 and Wesley Gordon with 10. The bench only scored 6 points.
The Buffs will play the Arizona Wildcats, who beat Utah earlier today, in the semifinals tomorrow at 6 p.m. PST.
