The INSPIRE ticket has won all but one of the ten open seats on CU Student Government, defeating the current office-holding
majority PULSE, according to preliminary election results that were released after the Oct. 22 through Oct. 26 voting.
The new CUSG Representatives-at-Large are Alexis Scobie, Nate Wallshein, Lauren Kuhn, Maddison Saavedra and Wesley Montag, all of the INSPIRE ticket. The new Arts and Sciences Student Government Board Members are Coco Wham, Tyler Hallmark, Ashley Prince, Katherine “Katie” McManus, all of the INSPIRE ticket, and David Zimmerman of the PULSE ticket. Candidate bios can be viewed here.
29,687 students voted in the Representative-at-large election and 19,041 students voted in the Arts and Sciences board member election, according to the release.
There is a formal process for candidates to file complaints. Complaints are due by noon on Oct. 30, and if none are filed, the election is finalized at that time.
