The competition intensifies in round three of the CU Independent’s “End of the Decade” series. Instead of the usual five suspects, we’ve doubled the field. Now the fates of 10 albums, live performances, movies and TV shows are in your hands. Can “Survivor,” the granddaddy of all modern day reality shows, beat fan-favorite dramas like “Grey’s Anatomy” or “House”? The question will be answered today. Finally, can Coldplay’s juggernaut “Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends” be able to take down albums from numerous divas in Thursdays’ poll? Today’s choices for TV Wednesday:
1. “Ugly Betty” [2006-present]: The ABC dramedy focusing on Betty (played by America Ferrera, who, despite her looks, has what it takes to survive the cutthroat fashion industry.)
2. “Grey’s Anatomy” [2005-present]: This medical-based drama that introduced us to Dr. Madison Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and the rest of the Seattle Grace Hospital staff won two Emmy awards and Golden Globe awards for excellence in television.

5. “Desperate Housewives” [2004-present]: The Wisteria Lane ladies hold court in their neighborhood, which their specialties include blackmail, backstabbing and catfights that keeps everyone on the edge.
6. “FRIENDS” [1994-2005]: This NBC comedy that centered among a group of friends made us laugh, cry and talk for ten seasons and started the careers of Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox Arquette.
7. “Survivor” [2000-present]: The show that helped put reality TV shows on the map, this CBS show took viewers all over the world to locations like Africa, the Australia Outback and Fiji Islands.
8. “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” [2005-present]: This FX sitcom follows the wacky and crazy antics of “The Gang,” which runs an ineffective bar in South Philadelphia.
9. “Curb Your Enthusiasm” [2000-present]: Larry David’s post-“Seinfeld” comedy about his relationships with his friends and fellow celebrities featured many guest stars including the “Seinfeld” cast.
10. “The Amazing Race” [2003-present]: The reality TV competition features teams of two racing around the world for the $1 million dollar grand prize while facing obstacles such as detours, yields, road blocks and competition from other teams in many countries including South Korea, Ethiopia and Brazil.
