Third quarter update
The Buffs went scoreless in the third quarter while Oregon scored two touchdowns. At the start of the fourth, the score was 57-16 Oregon.
Second quarter update
By the end of the half CU trailed Oregon 43-16. The Buffs finished the 2nd quarter with two field goals from junior kicker Will Oliver and the Ducks scored two touchdowns courtesy of Marcus Mariota and Josh Huff.
First quarter update
At the end of the first quarter, Oregon lead 29-10. Junior receiver Paul Richardson completed his 100th career reception off of a 55-yard pass from junior quarterback Connor Wood. The Buffs scored first in the first 3 minutes of play with a field goal by junior kicker Will Oliver after driving the ball to the Oregon 16 yard line. Oregon responded quickly with a 2-yard touchdown by Marcus Mariota, which was complemented by a 2-point conversion by Pharaoh Brown, bringing the score to 8-3.
Colorado’s only other score of the half came off of a trick play by Wood to Richardson, who passed the ball to junior wide-receiver D.D. Goodson for a 75-yard touchdown. Oregon scored three more touchdowns before the quarter’s end to get the 19-point edge over the Buffs going into the 2nd.
