The CU administration has announced the four finalists who are in the running for the position of associate vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students.
Out of 100 applications sent in from hopeful candidates, the four who remain are Dr. Pamela D. Anthony, Christina M. Gonzales, Terry C. Mena, and Dr. Michael Russel. Dr. Karen Raforth currently holds the position.
Forums featuring the finalists will begin April 23 and the new dean of students will likely be announced by July 1.
Dr. Pamela D. Anthony is the assistant dean of students at Georgia State University. Her forums will take place Friday, April 27 from 11 to 11:45 a.m. in the C4C, room S350, and from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. in Wardenburg Health Center’s Solarium.
Christina M. Gonzales holds the position of acting director of student conduct at the University of California at Berkeley. Her forums will take place from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Monday, April 23 in Wardenburg’s Solarium.
Terry C. Mena is currently the associate dean of students at Florida Atlantic University and an instructor with the department of Freshman Academic Services. He will hold open forums from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 in Wardenburg’s Solarium.
Dr. Michael Russel is the executive director for student affairs administration at Texas Christian University. His forums will be held Monday, April 30 from 11 to 11:45 a.m. in the Regent Administrative Center and from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. in Wardenburg Health Center Solarium.
