Twisted Pine is inviting students and community members to tip back some pints to benefit global education.
Beer lovers can drink for a cause this Sunday, August 28 from 2-6 p.m. at the Twisted Pine Brewery. The Boulder restaurant and pub is hosting a benefit for CU EducAid, an organization that fights to globally increase accessibility to education. Twisted Pine’s Pints for Hope will donate $1 of every pint sold from 2-6 p.m. to support EducAid.
According to their website, CU EducAid is a student organization on campus that works to promote knowledge about education deficiencies across the world. The organization is currently working on building a school in a rural area of Cambodia and will use money raised from the event aid their efforts. Once the school is built, they will continue to provide aid and work on similar projects across the world.
The event will feature music from Rocktin Grove, an alternative blue grass band with Boulder roots.
For locals looking to drink and dance this weekend, Twisted Pine’s Pints for Hope offers an opportunity for a fun and rewarding time.
