Colorado’s dreams of finding themselves in the “Big Dance” come March are slowly fading.
Dropping their fourth straight in Big 12 play, the Buffs (14-8, 3-4 Big 12) were unable to keep a halftime lead against the Baylor Bears (14-6, 4-3 Big 12) losing 70-66 on Saturday afternoon in Waco, Texas.
Sophomore guard Alec Burks led the Buffs with 20 points and five rebounds. Senior guard Cory Higgins led the Buffs with 16 points, five rebounds and two assists.
Texas native and freshman guard Andre Roberson led the Buffs in rebounding with 11 points.
Up next for the Buffs are the Iowa State Cyclones at the Coors Events Center on February 1.
