Student union looks to fill positions for its upcoming election
The UCSU legislature spent most of their meeting Thursday ratifying new employees and making modifications to the election code for the upcoming election at the end of October.
The election process now has a more organized and rigid schedule. The petition packets must be in five weeks earlier than in previous years, and the ballots must be turned in two weeks earlier.
Sally Ho, a journalism news-editorial major, was appointed Director of Public Relations for UCSU. Lieschen Gargano, an international affairs and German major, was appointed the new UCSU Liaison to Club Sports and Intramurals.
The Tri-executives currently have job openings for a liaison to graduate and professional studies and a liaison to the Greek community. For more information visit this Web site.
