TUESDAY
Texas Hold’em Tournament
If poker is your game, compete weekly in the Connection’s free Texas Hold’em Tournaments. Each week’s winner advances to the Final Table, which will take place at the end of the semester. Sign up for the tournament at the Connection front desk starting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The tournament lasts from 6:30 to 11 p.m.
WEDNESDAY
Student Involvement Fair
Do you want to get involved at CU but just don’t know where to begin? The Student Involvement Fair is just the place to start. Over 100 student groups from across campus will be there, starting at 11 a.m., with free snacks and opportunities to win prizes. The fair ends at 2 p.m.
THURSDAY
JewFest
The Jewish Student Alliance is bringing CU a night of Jewish culture like no other. The band 8th Day will perform while you take part in activities like making challah, decorating yamukahs and kippas and writing your name in Hebrew. JewFest will be held in the UMC from 7 to 9 p.m.
FRIDAY
Laser Pink Floyd: The Wall/Laser Led Zeppelin
Chill out to the classic rock music of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin while watching CU’s choreographed light show, complete with special effects. Pink Floyd: The Wall starts at 9:30 p.m., and Led Zeppelin starts at 10:45 p.m. Admission is $7.
