As we inch closer to Spring Break, there are plenty of events to keep us having fun in Boulder. Between Mardi Gras events and the week-long Miramontes festival on campus, you�re bound to find something fun to do!

Monday
Kick off the Miramontes Festival week with a Chancellor�s Committee on Women Annual Tea. Celebrate women; that�s what the Miramontes Festival is all about! From 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in UMC 457, join together for free tea and provisions (gluten-free options available).
(FAT) Tuesday, a.k.a. Mardi Gras
Yo Mama�s Big Fat Booty Band at the Fox
Get down on Mardi Gras with the ever-funky Yo Mama�s Big Fat Booty Band at the Fox. Liebermonster opens up. Tickets are a cheap $5 in advance, $9 day-of and a $2 extra charge for the under-21 crowd.
Fat Tuesday Babe Night at the Goose
The Goose is offering a number of drink deals for this Fat Tuesday. A free keg starting at 10 p.m. and free vodka for the ladies �til midnight. That�s not all: $2 Bud Drafts and whiskey all night. Music? You know it! Fresh2Death, Fisk & Samples and Thick Chick will be providing the beats.
Fat Tuesdays at Absinthe House
The fine folks at Absinthe House are starting a new gig for Boulderites on Tuesday nights. How fitting that the inaugural event is on Fat Tuesday! Gibson and King will play. Get there at 8 p.m.; you never know what�s gonna happen!
Miramontes Festival: LYNX at Club 156
Come check out female singer/songwriter, producer, beatboxer and instrumentalist LYNX at Club 156. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday
Miramontes Festival: �Unveiled Views: Muslim Women Artists Speak Out,� a documentary
Join the Cultural Events Board along with the Dennis Small Cultural Center for a screening of �Unveiled Views: Muslim Women Artists Speak Out.� The event is free, food is provided and it starts at 6 p.m. in the Dennis Small Cultural Center (UMC 457).
CU Theatre Department presents: ��Tis Pity She�s a Whore�
Come watch this 17th century play about an incestuous relationship. Okay, okay, it�s more than that! It�s a controversial English play with sword fights and plot twists. Tickets are $12 with your BuffOne Card. The play starts Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Loft Theatre; be sure to check the rest of the schedule.
Thursday
Rogue Sound at the Fox
Catch genre-fusing Rogue Sound at the Fox. The jazz/reggae/hip-hop fusionists will play with Mr. Anonymous. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance, $8 day of show, with a $2 extra charge for under-21ers.
Friday
CU Poetry Slam
Ten slam poets will share their rhymes for a chance to win the title of 8th Annual Poetry Slam Champion. This event is free and starts at 8 p.m. in the Glenn Miller Ballroom in the UMC.
Vibesquad at the Fox
Local performer and bass bumpin� favorite, Vibesquad, is bringing the beats back to Boulder. This is a late show that starts at 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 10 p.m. Tickets are $18.50 in advance, $22 day of show and, as always, a $2 charge for those under 21.
