Colorado women’s basketball (10-7, 1-3 Big 12) shot just 32

CU came out sloppy in the first half committing 11 first-half turnovers, eight coming in the first 12 minutes. Sophomore guard Meagan Malcolm-Peck came off the bench and scored seven of her nine points during a 10-2 CU run that cut the OSU lead to 21-20. They trailed 29-22 at the half.

The Buffs managed to come back to within one point with 7:22 remaining in the game. From there, the Cowgirl’s defense, which is ranked second in the Big 12, took over. The Buffs were held without a field goal for the remainder of the game, going 0-13 from the field to finish with their season low in points for a game.
CU will return to the Coors Events Center Jan. 22, where they will meet up with Missouri at 4 p.m.
