The Colorado Buffaloes men’s golf team could never find their stroke at the Aggie Invitational.
CU finished 11th of 12 teams on Sunday in College Station, Texas, in the final tournament before the Big 12 Championships next week. Six Big 12 teams were in the event with the Buffs finishing last of the six.
No. 6 Texas A&M was 21 strokes ahead of No. 1 Oklahoma State to win their own tournament at the Traditions Golf Club.
The Buffs were as high as ninth in the final round of play on Sunday, but faltered down the stretch to finish 23 strokes ahead of last place Texas-San Antonio.
Colorado was five strokes behind tenth place Kent State and ten strokes behind ninth place SMU.
Senior Justin Bardgett was the CU golfer who finished the highest in the tournament with him tied for 29th with a 2-over 218.
Next up for the Buffs is the Big 12 Tournament at the Whispering Pines Golf Course in Trinity, Texas, Apr. 23-25.
