What the groundhog said this year
Legend has it that Punxsutawney Phil can determine the weather six weeks in advance. The groundhog did not see his shadow when he emerged from his burrow on Groundhog Day last Saturday, indicating another six weeks of winter.
Snow is in the forecast throughout the day Monday beginning around 9 a.m. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent, according to the National Weather Service.
The high for Monday is 35 degrees but will not feel warmer than 20 degrees with the wind chill.
Snow showers should cease Monday night leaving partly cloudy skies for Super Tuesday.
