A new study reveals that Colorado ranks fourth nationwide for online searches related to employability and professional growth in 2025.
The research by e-learning platform, eLearning Industry, analyzed state-level search data from Google Keyword Planner for keywords such as “career development courses,” “leadership development program,” “online professional development courses,” “courses professional development,” and other related terms. The study compared total searches to each state’s population to determine search interest per 100,000 residents.
Colorado ranks fourth, with 245 searches per 100,000 residents for employability and professional development topics, which is 36.1% higher than the national average of 180. The Centennial State recorded a total of 14,730 searches from a population of 6,013,650.
