The Colorado Buffaloes men’s basketball team improved to 10-1 Friday, Dec. 13 as they defeated the University of Elon Phoenix 80-63 at Coors Event Center. This was the Buff’s 10th straight win after losing to Baylor in the first game of the season, and they are now ranked no. 20 in the nation.
The Buffs struggled early on with some familiar issues like free throws and turnovers. Guard Spencer Dinwiddie led the Buffaloes with 17 points as forwards Xavier Johnson and Josh Scott combined for 28 rebounds to propel Colorado to its first 10-game winning streak in 52 years.
