Trivia Night at Conor O’Neill’s, 9 p.m.
Bring out your inner nerd with car bombs and Guinness. The best Irish bar in town is serving up trivia night. Be there early for a good spot!
DAYUM live music at Southern Sun, 10 p.m.
Get down with your bad self at the Southern Sun. Nothing goes better with a Boulder-made brew than live music.
Trike Night at the Dark Horse, 9 p.m.
For the 21-and-up crowd: Have you heard of anything better than beer and riding a tricycle around a bar? Get to the Dark Horse; it’s calling your name. Drink specials rock with $3 Jäger, $7 Bud/Bud Light pitchers and $2.50 Smirnoff.
Tijuana Tuesdays at the Walrus, 9 p.m.
Grab your sombrero for Tijuana Tuesdays at the Walrus with $3 Corona buckets starting at 9 p.m. Got dancing fever after those Coronas? DJPetey spins at 10.
Spring career and internship fair, UMC Ballroom and room 235, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thanks to the folks at Career Services, you’ve got some assistance in the job or internship hunt. That monkey suit is calling your name, so don it proudly and don’t forget the resume!
People Under the Stairs live music at the Fox, 9 p.m.
Hailing from L.A., this underground hip-hop group is bringing their beats to Boulder. The show starts at 9 p.m. with Abstract Rude, Mane Rok and Deejay Tense opening. Tickets are $20 for those 21-and-up and an extra $2 if under 21.
“The Pillowman” at the Loft Theatre, 7:30 p.m.
Support your fellow theater buffs and go see the who-done-it mystery. “The Pillowman” is a black comedy and will surely please both those with a dramatic side and those with a comedic side. Tickets are $12 with your BuffOne card. The play runs Jan. 26 through Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m., January 29 and 30 at 2:00 p.m. and January 30 at 6:30 p.m.
Sneak Peak: “The Mechanic” presented by Program Council, Chem 140, 8 p.m.
Join the folks of Program Council to see “The Mechanic” before all your friends (unless you bring them with you, of course). Starring Jason Statham and Donald Sutherland, this action-thriller will surely make you feel more badass after you watch it. This event is awesomely free, but you’ll need a ticket. Grab them in the UMC, room 401.
Old 97’s with Langhorne Slim live music at the Boulder Theater, 9 p.m.
If you’re into power pop and/or alt-country, you’ve probably heard of the Old 97’s. Listen to their song “Question” and just try to think of a more achingly sweet proposal song. Tickets are $24.50 in advance and $28 the day of.
Rootz Underground live music at the Fox, 9 p.m.
Reggae lovers rejoice. The Jamaican band, Rootz Underground, is gracing the Fox with their pulsating presence. Tickets are $10 but only if you’re 21-and-up.
Program Council presents: “Jackass 3-D,” Chem 140, 9 p.m.
You know the boys of Jackass are always trying to out-do themselves. If you didn’t see “Jackass 3-D” the first time (or just want to see it again) you can. Before you go, read the CU Independent’s review and the exclusive interview to fully understand the method to their madness.
Underwater Hockey at the Rec, 9 p.m.
Here’s something new for you to try: playing hockey on the bottom of the deep end while holding your breath and trying to check the other players. Probably doesn’t work so well, but you tell us. Drop in anytime; the games finish at 11 p.m. Free with your BuffOne card.
