The question on many Buffs fans’ minds is who will replace Dan Hawkins as CU’s head coach.
CU officials announced the formation of a seven-person committee to find a new head coach for the CU football team on Wednesday. The search committee will help determine who will become CU’s 24th full-time head football coach after Dan Hawkins was relieved of his duties on Nov. 9.
The committee is charged with studying and evaluating detailed information on candidates, interviewing candidates and recommending one or more to CU Athletic Director Mike Bohn. Bohn is the hiring authority, but will not be on the committee as part of university policy.
