Grown-up slumber parties provide excitement
Ladies, are you feeling like your sex life is lacking? Are you bored doing the same old, same old in the bedroom? Want to enhance your sexual experience with some new toys or lotions?
Here is your answer: Host a “Slumber Party.”
This is not your ordinary slumber party, however; it is an alluring encounter that allows women to take their sensuality to a different level.
Slumber Parties are in-home demonstrations that let women experiment and test different sexual products that are sure to spice things up in the bedroom – whether it’s alone or with a partner.
After a certain amount of time, a relationship may fall into a rut, and the excitement in the bedroom may be lacking. But with the help of Slumber Parties, women are sure to keep things hot in the bedroom and keep their partners asking for more.
Cheryl Strauber, a Slumber Parties, Inc. distributor, said some relationships can get to the point where it is like watching the same TV show over and over, and all you want is something different.
“Intimacy is an important part of a relationship, and we offer products from all realms of the bathroom to the bedroom,” Strauber said.
Strauber has been a distributor since 2004 and found that Slumber Parties allow women to have an open forum with girlfriends. She loves the confidentiality, togetherness and closeness among women at these parties.
The parties are held in private homes, attended by only women and promoted by women. At the end of each party, there is time to purchase any of the products you found interesting and fun during the presentation.
Some of the available products include, but are not limited to: body shimmer, massage cream and oils, lubricants of all types that are long-lasting and water proof, informative sex books, lingerie, games for the bedroom, blindfolds, vibrators and candy G-strings.
“I bought one of the products from a party I attended last fall. It was really great to have, and my boyfriend at the time found it to be very fun and exciting to have something new to add to the bedroom,” said Harmoine Succo, a Slumber Party attendee.
According to Slumber Parties, Inc., providing these services to only women is empowering to them sexually and allows them to be more comfortable in making decisions based on their sexual preferences and wanted experimentations.
The average Slumber Party presentation usually lasts one and a half hours. Extra time is needed for the ordering process, and it’s free of charge to host and attend. The only money a woman must pay is for the products she chooses to purchase.
“I attended my first slumber party last September for my friend’s birthday,” said Stephanie Morris, a senior MCD biology major. “It was really interesting because we were able to taste the products and rub some of the items on us to see if we liked the way they felt. At one point in the middle of the presentation, all of us were testing one of the arousal balms. It was funny to see everyone’s reactions to it and to feel comfortable testing such a personal product.”
Strauber said the parties are very hands-on because it is important to make sure you like what you purchase. Many of the products are edible, feel a certain way and contain a scent, so in testing out the products beforehand, a woman can know exactly what she is buying and be completely satisfied with it.
“We carry our products with us so what you order, you can get that same night,” Strauber said.
There are some cases, though, when a product may be sold. If that happens, the distributor can mail it at a later date.
It is important to remember that these parties are meant to be educational, fun and informative. The distributors hope by the end of the night to bring you out of the sexual secrecy that is the norm in society and allow you to explore different avenues of your sexuality.
“(The Slumber Parties) impact women in a way that is much more apparent than what is on the surface. They allow for all different types of feelings, orgasms and arousals,” Strauber said.
Some women, however, are apprehensive to attending a “sex party” because they have never experienced such an open communication about their sexuality before.
“At first I was a little nervous because I went to my first party with my sister, which was a little awkward. But the presenter was so easygoing that it made everything really comfortable,” Succo said.
Ladies, be open to letting your guard down and open up to the new possibilities of sexual satisfaction for yourself and your love life. You may soon find the shy woman inside of you might disappear altogether.
