Alternative back-to-school shopping
Your vibrator could be this sparkly, if only you were a trust fund baby. (CU Independent illustration/Kelly Kaoudis)
School can be draining. Back-to-school often means back to stress, why not ease the stress with some good vibrations?
Just like exercise, the endorphins released after an orgasm have a positive impact on mood and energy. With a vibrator, it is much easier to get this awesome feeling, but much faster. Vibrators are a great way to reboot and kill time when you have an hour or so in between classes.
I’m one of those people who when I hear I have a test, my mind goes a million different places; and I can’t help but to anticipate an anxiety attack. Using a vibrator for stress never really crossed my mind until school came around and I realized I needed to find a reliable way to calm myself down.
Whether you want something for two, or just for your own pleasure, there are many vibrator options on the market to choose from. School supply shopping can be boring. Who gets excited about picking out pens? Now, picking out a vibrator, that’s like shopping in a candy store.
I have compiled a list of the best of the best on the market whether you want something little or something extraordinary to take your mind off of school. Take a look, you may find just what you are looking for:
“My Private O Vibrator” $12.95, Adameve.com
This affordable, small vibrator is discrete and a great choice. Not only does it come in awesome colors, but the vibrations aren’t too intense, which makes it that much more appealing for those who have never owned a vibrator. It’s affordable price and the fact that it’s waterproof make it a great place to start.
“Fukuoku 12K Fingertip Massager” $34.95 Adameve.com
Getting a vibrator where you are able to have control is key. This fingertip massager puts all the control at your fingertips, literally. This small vibrator vibrates a whopping 12,000 times per minute, guaranteeing complete stimulation. Stress relief and euphoria can be created in no time with this little vibrator. This vibrator is my top pick for relaxation after a midterm.
“Waterproof iVibe Rabbit Vibrator” $88.88 Therabbitvibrator.com
Anyone who has watched Sex and the City has heard of the legendary Rabbit Vibrator. This iVibe is cordless, waterproof and pretty much the goddess of all vibrators. With 11 settings and a pair of rabbit ears for extra stimulation, this vibrator is at the top of my vibrator wish list. The iVibe can take you to heaven and back faster than you can say ‘orgasm.’
“LELO YVA Gold-Plated Massager” $2,580.00 healthyandactive.com
Although this is out of any average college student’s budget, if you really want the ultimate experience, this is the vibrator for you. This small, powerful vibrator gets the gold metal (literally) out of all vibrators. For a little over $2,500 dollars, it is sure to pack a punch. Given the choice of Christian Louboutin stilettos, or this stunning vibrator, my choice would be easy: the LELO YVA.
Take a break from the gym, and relieve your stress in a more fun, exciting and sensual way. These are just a few of my favorite vibrators, but if you’re still curious, explore the Internet and sex shops. A little back to school shopping will quickly lead you to the best vibrator for you this school year.
