No mention of Eldora? Sure it’s small, but it’s got the most laid back vibe of any resort in Colorado. With a student ID, a season pass is only $140 and the RTD ‘N’ line runs up there every day and that’s free to ride with your student bus pass. Not to mention local microbrews on draft and happy hour specials every day at the bar…that sure beats paying $10 for a plastic bottle of Coors Light at Breck.

It’s cool though, keep sending everyone to Breck and Beaver Creek. I’ll take a 30 minute bus ride and a chilled out local vibe over waiting 15 minutes in lift lines behind riders smoking cigarettes and wearing XXL basketball jerseys.
