Temperatures will be high for weekend football game
The Boulder area will begin the week with the highest temperatures so far this year.
Temperatures are expected to reach the low 70s Monday and Tuesday, followed by possible precipitation Wednesday and sunny skies the rest of the week.
The late afternoon and early evening will see the most sunshine and highest temperatures each day, but winds between 20 and 30 miles per hour may make it feel a bit cooler Tuesday.
The unseasonably warm weather will dip Wednesday as the chance of precipitation is 50 percent. The forecast shows high temperatures Wednesday around 45 degrees and an overnight low of 29 degrees.
Students can plan for Frisbee or climbing and other outdoor activities this week, and those less active can enjoy the outside patios at their favorite coffee shops and restaurants.
The week will draw to an end with sunny skies and very little chance for high winds or precipitation.
A first look at the weekend forecast shows temperatures in the upper 60s and more sun than clouds for the CU spring football game Saturday afternoon.
