Officers arrested a 30-year-old man from Golden on suspicion of use of fighting words, threatening bodily injury, trespassing and resisting arrest at the Catacombs Bar at 2115 13th Street. Staff at the bar told police that the man had refused to leave and become violent. They reported having the same problem with the same man the night before.
Nov. 17
Police arrested Hugo A. Hernandez-Ceballos on suspicion of DUI, reckless driving, criminal impersonation, drove vehicle while revoked as a habitual traffic offender, offenses relating to marijuana possession, improper use/reproduction of ID card, and two active warrants.
Nov. 18
Officers took a report of an attempted vehicle theft from the 1700 block of Broadway. Suspects allegedly borrowed a screwdriver from a nearby business and then attempted to steal a copper-colored Saturn. Police are following up on suspect information.
