Photos: Opening day at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area

The Arapahoe Basin Ski Area opened for the season Thursday, Oct. 13. Jeffrey Egner, a senior sociology major, took the day off to drive up for opening day. According to arapahoebasin.com, the High Noon intermediate run and the High Divide terrain park were open. According to Egner, there was snow for all.

Rob is a sophomore news-editorial major at the University of Colorado - Boulder in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and holds the title of assistant editor of photography with the CU Independent. He has previously worked on his award winning high school yearbook, the Aerie of Mountain Vista High School, where he found his love for photojournalism. He has also interned with Rich Clarkson & Associates, a multimedia firm in Denver. While not taking photos for the CUI, Rob enjoys taking photos of just about everything else, being joyful and watching The Dark Knight.
