Election still not officially called; Clinton campaign holds off on concession speech

After midnight Nov. 9, the Hillary Clinton campaign announced that it would wait until the morning after every vote was counted before it considers conceding.

Campaign Chairman John Podesta walked on stage at the Clinton headquarters in New York and spoke to the crowd around 2 a.m. EST. He informed the crowd that Clinton would not be conceding the election that night despite Donald Trump’s increasing lead.

“They are still counting votes and every vote counts,” Podesta said. “She is not done yet.”

We’ll be bringing you the official election results once they’re finalized and announced right here at CUIndependent.com.
