The University of Colorado women’s basketball team went down quietly on the road to #10 Arizona State, losing by a final score of 64-37, which is the second time in three games that the team has failed to score at least 40 points.
The Buffs struggled offensively for the entire contest. They were shut out for a frightening 6:50 during the first quarter and managed to score only ten points by halftime.
Freshman guard Kennedy Leonard and junior forward Zoe Beard-Fails scored nine points apiece to lead the Buffs.
The loss drops the Buffaloes to 5-11 on the year. Still winless in Pac-12 play, they will play Arizona at 2 p.m. this Sunday.
