Final:
The game finishes and the Buffs win 43-10 improving their record to 3-3.
Fourth Quarter:
Michael Adkins rushes for his third touchdown of the game tying the CU freshman record for touchdowns in a game making it 36-10. On the following Buffalo drive Adkins adds to his tally and breaks the freshman touchdown record with his fourth on the afternoon making the score 43-10 Buffs with roughly 6 minutes remaining in the game.
Third Quarter:
The Buffs march down the field and after going for it on 4th & 1, running back Christian Powell rushes for a touchdown making the score 29-10. On Charleston Southern’s following drive, Buffalo defensive back Jered Bell intercepts a pass from Kyle Copeland on the Buffs 42 yard line.
Halftime:
The Buffs lead 22-10 at half.
Second Quarter:
Charleston Southern begin the second quarter with a field goal with 14:50 left in the first half and the Buffs lead 8-3. The Buffs force and recover a fumble on the Charleston Southern 12 yard line. Running back Michael Adkins rushes for his second touchdown on the day. Colorado leads Charleston Southern 15-3 with 11:41 remaining in the half. Freshman quarterback passes to wide receiver Paul Richardson for a 60-yard touchdown pass to make it 22-3 with 9:16 left. With less than a minute remaining in the half, Kyle Copeland and Charleston Southern respond with an 8-yard touchdown pass to Colton Korn to make the score at halftime 22-10 with the Buffs leading the Buccaneers.
First Quarter:
Freshman running back Michael Adkins II rushed for a touchdown with 12:52 left in the first. After a successful two point conversion, the Buffs lead 8-0.
