Besides, why did it take most of a year after their being fired (allegedly, for animal mistreatment) before the wranglers report animal abuse? Timing suggests sour grapes and abandoned prima donnas.

Tue, 18 Dec 2012 02:10:43 +0000 http://www.cuindependent.com/?p=40745#comment-5800 While there’s no argument that animal mistreatment is far too common in Hollywood; if you actually do some research, you’ll find that there’s (as of yet, anyway) no evidence to support these accusations against the production of the Hobbit. A few animal wranglers who had been let go from the production complained to PETA and PETA ran with it without doing any investigation whatsoever. If there was any animal cruelty during this production, no evidence of it has yet been reported.
