Monday Night Bowling
Take a break from your cramming and head to the UMC for the Connection’s weekly bowling deal. You get two hours of unlimited bowling, shoes and a soft drink for eight dollars. This deal starts at 6 p.m.

Faculty Tuesdays: Alexandra Nguyen
Join pianist Alexandra Nguyen and her accompaniment for “An Evening of French Chamber Music.” The program features music by Charles Martin Loeffler and Gabriel Fauré. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in Grusin Music Hall. This event is free and open to the public.
WEDNESDAY
“Great Fear, Great Hope: Climate Change and the Meaning of Life” with author Auden Schendler
Author and climate change activist Auden Schendler will discuss some of the biggest climate issues facing our world today. The presentation will be followed by a reception and signing of his newest book, “Getting Green Done: Hard Truths from the Front Lines of the Sustainability Revolution.” The talk begins at 6 p.m. in Eaton Humanities, room 150.
THURSDAY
Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers & Jon McLaughlin @ the Fox
Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers will join Jon McLaughlin at the Fox Theater. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $16 for advanced tickets and $18 for day of show.
“Grassroots” film
Check out this comedy based on the true story of Grant Cogswell’s political battle to build a monorail in Seattle. The film starts at 7:30 p.m. in The Film Studies Theater, ATLAS 102. This event is free and open to the public. Visit the International Film Series website for more details.

Holiday Festival 2011
Join the College of Music for their annual Holiday Festival. CU’s orchestra, choirs, ensembles and faculty soloists will perform seasonal music in a holiday-themed Macky Auditorium. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $12. Find additional show times at CU Presents website.

Engineering Design Expo
Go see the creative and innovative projects the engineering students have been working on this semester at the engineering Design Expo. The event showcases the work of hundreds of CU students and will be judged by professionals from various industries. The expo goes from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory.
“with[in]”: Fall 2011 BFA Exhibition
Check out the BFA students’ semester exhibition “with[in]” this Saturday in the Projects Gallery of the CU Art Museum in the Visual Arts Complex. Pieces will be shown from 12 to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday until Dec. 16.
