The Boulder Police Department has confirmed a male pedestrian was hit by a pickup truck crossing the road at the Center for Community.
Boulder Police Department Sergeant Jack Walker confirmed that the victim, identified as a CU student, was not crossing at a
crosswalk. The victim was transported to the hospital with a head injury, he said. His condition is not known at this time. Sgt. Walker said the person driving the pickup truck was a CU student.
Officers will continue their investigation this evening. The sun was reportedly in the drivers eyes and officers are unsure if that played a factor in this accident. Alcohol has not been ruled a factor in the investigation.
