One person has been reported dead in a fatal glider crash at the 600 block of Baseline.
There was only one person flying in the glider at the scene of the crash and one person was reported dead on the scene, Boulder Sheriff Commander Rick Brough said.
According to Brough, the glider crashed April 1 at approximately 5:15 pm.
Brough said that at the time of the crash, multiple accounts of power outages were reported in the area. The outages could have been the cause of the crash but that information remains preliminary.
The Sheriff’s office said that there is an NTSB investigator on the scene of the crash looking into the causes of the crash.
Additional details will be coming as soon as new information arises.
