I've never met Robert but I know I'd like him, it comes across in his shows. He writes about what he knows and does it very well. He'll probably admit he wouldn't be the one you'd go to for vocal lessons but his vocals fit his music (i.e. Willie Nelson, Jeff Tweedy, Ryan Bingham). Do yourself a favor and go to this show, I wish I could. I'm looking forward to his next trip to OKC.
