That's what it should all be about, right? Yeah, Hillard looks like he just wanted to make sure people were safe. That’s what it should all be about, right?

I applaud the campus for understanding the significance of this day for some students. It has more to do with student power than a mass toke-in. Cops & powers- that-be cannot tolerate people-power because it flaunts theirs ! Such spontaneous gatherings have been part of campus life for decades, but now, the association with legal pot, recently given thumbs down in a national poll, is carte blanche to disperse such gatherings, in the hope of preventing any grass-roots, ground-swell movement which counters it. From UC to CU its clear that student power is once again under attack by a system which has one motive: the destruction of any semblance of the sixties. Stay straight, sober, & conform while you go ass-deep in debt. Hilliard’s last comment speaks volumes about the absurdity discussed herein.
