The men are ranked first in the NCAA Mountain region, while the women rank second in the region behind Northern Arizona University.
For the second straight poll, the Washington Huskies’ women’s team and the Oregon Ducks’ men’s team are the top ranked teams in the nation.
The Buffs will host their second meet of the season, the Rocky Mountain Shootout, on Saturday at Buffalo Ranch at CU-Boulder South. The women’s 5.8 kilometer race begins at 9:15 a.m. while the men’s 8k race starts at 10 a.m.
