See what CU students say
Even if it is a small day dream, everyone has wondered at some point in their lives what it would be like to be a certain celebrity. After asking several CU students what celebrity they would be, it is clear that most everyone had a fantasy of their own.
“It would be sweet to be Elizabeth Taylor because she’s in the Cleopatra movie and I would want to be Cleopatra,” said Megan Elliott, a sophomore biological sciences major.
“I don’t think I would want to be any celebrity,” said Hailey Mac Gregor, a senior Spanish major.
“I would be Michael Jordan because of his impact on everything- everybody knows him,” said Rod Sauaia, a sophomore open option major.
“I would be Johnny Depp because he got to work with Hunter S. Thompson in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas who is one of my favorite writers,” said George Wolf, a sophomore studio arts major. “Also because he starred in my favorite movie, Blow.”
“I like Tom Petty because he’s awesome,” said Jordan Bradfish, a sophomore biological sciences major. “I love the way he approaches life- he’s like the coolest person in the whole world.”
“I would like to be the guy on the show “House,” because he gets to be a pompous jerk all the time and no one really cares,” said Autumn Mittleider, a junior psychology major. “Also because he usually helps people and reaches their diagnosis.”
“I would be Manny Ramirez because he has been my idol sports figure growing up, and he’s rich,” said Will Hable, a junior history major.
“Johnny Depp would be cool because he plays so many different roles,” said Sarah Happoldt, a junior speech language and hearing sciences major. “He’s also hot; he’s got the looks and the acting skills.”
“I would be Jimmy Hendrix because I would want to experience everything he did and to achieve everything he’s done because I will never be able to do what he did in my life,” said David Cockcroft, a freshman open-option major.
“I would be Tom Brady because he’s the best quarterback ever, he lives in Boston, and he’s modest and he’s a champion, and has a banging girlfriend,” said Zach Cohn, a senior international affairs major.
“I would be George Clooney because he’s ruggedly handsome and really down to earth,” said Josh Smith, a junior Spanish major.
