Spa’s most popular treatments are manicures and pedicures
Walking into Ten20 at 2005 Pearl Street, guests are greeted by modern couches and large television projector. This spa looks more like a good place to hang out with friends than a place to get your nails done or get a wax.
“What’s special and sets us apart from other spas is our unique look and our big screen for customers to watch TV shows while getting their nails done,” said Cristina Cavalier, manager of Ten20. “We try to give customers spa quality service with lower prices in a fun modern setting.”
Ten20’s name is a play on ten fingers and ten toes, since the spa’s most popular services are manicures and pedicures. Ten20 also sells lingerie, flip flops, nail polish and lotions which customers can buy at the store or order online for home delivery.
According to the company’s Web site, Ten20 sells “products that aren’t found ‘everywhere’ and are sometimes difficult to find anywhere.”
This spa may be the less expensive route if you need to get those feet ready for the summer sandal season. A full pedicure is $34, a mini-pedi (a pedicure minus the massaging and foot file) is $24. Compared to other nail salons in Boulder, which average $45 to $80 for a pedicure, Ten20’s prices are competitive.
Kelley McCourt, 20, walked into Ten20 for her manicure and pedicure appointment.
“I come to Ten20 because I think the prices are fair and I enjoy being able to watch ‘Desperate Housewives’ or ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ while my nails are drying,” she said.
