The CU chapter of Amnesty International hosted a screening of three short movies produced by impoverished south Mexico communities Wednesday night.
The Chiapas Media Project, a multinational partnership that provides video equipment and training to indigenous communities in southern Mexico, helped produce the films in the southern Mexican states of Chiapas and Guerrero. They are the most impoverished states in Mexico and among the top six states with the highest percentage of indigenous people, said Aasia Mohammad Casta
