8:00 leftFollowing a three-and-out by Texas Tech, CU quarterback Bernard Jackson skipped through the middle of the Tech defense for a career long 43-yard run to the Texas Tech 40-yard line. Jackson then threw his second touchdown of the day to wide receiver Jarrell Yates to put CU up 13-0 on Texas Tech with 12:55 to go in the 2nd. Place-kicker Mason Crosby added the extra point.

HalftimeThe Colorado Buffaloes are showing promise as they head into haftime in Boulder, Colo. with a 20-0 lead over the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Before being injured following a string of 11-yard and 10-yard first down runs late in the 2nd quarter, CU quarterback Bernard Jackson has thrown for 119 yards and two touchdowns. The other scores were compliments of place-kicker Mason Crosby who had field goals of 56 and 26 yards.
The Buffaloes have racked up 228 offensive yards to Texas Tech’s 111, and lead the turnover battle with one interception(Walters) and one fumble recovery (Dizon). The CU Buffaloes will get the ball to start the 2nd half.

4th quarterCU’s defense and place-kicker Mason Crosby have been consistent through three quarters, as the Buffaloes maintain a 23-0 lead over Texas Tech. Crosby nailed his second field goal of more than 50 yards with a 53-yarder and Texas Tech hasn’t been able to figure out the Buffaloes secondary. Texas Tech efficiently moved the ball down into CU territory near the end of the quarter, but CU safety Ryan Walters stepped up on a deep pass from Tech quarterback Harrell and got his second interception of the game. CU has the ball to start the fourth quarter.

7:20 leftTexas Tech found some life after a Bernard Jackson fumble on the Texas Tech 7-yard line. The Red Raiders quickly converted the turnover into some offensive momentum, with a 54-yard screen pass from Harrell to running back Woods to the CU 14-yard line. Texas Tech then wasted no time in finding the end zone with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Harrell to wide receiver Amendola. Texas Tech then attempted an onside kick which was recovered by the Buffaloes at the Texas Tech 41-yard line.
