About Devon Barrow

Devon is a sophomore at CU. Over the past two semesters, she has been with the CU Independent as a news reporter, opinion writer, and copy editor, and she looks forward to the many semesters to come. As part of the opinion section, she particularly likes to write about politics and social issues, with the belief that its important for college students to remain informed. Her true interest and passion is creative writing, but Devon is pursuing a business degree. She has no idea why and hopes it will be useful one day. Devon's random hobbies include obsessive-coffee-drinking, drawing flowers, napping, and reading lyrics. She dreams to one day be a very successful novelist or political columnist (or marry rich) so she can retire early and live on a beach.
