CU Basketball player Andrew Zehnder, 19, was arrested Tuesday, according the CU Police.
Zehnder, a junior civil engineering major and guard for the CU men’s basketball, was arrested on third-degree burglary charges by the CU Police Department Tuesday and booked into the Boulder County Jail.
According to a CUPD police report, Steven Wells, director of the Coors Event Center, walked into the Coors Events Center on Saturday evening and saw a man resembling Zehnder looking through some equipment.
Jeff Bzdelik, coach of the Basketball team, told the team about the incident on Sunday and said that “someone needs to come forward.”
Zehnder confessed after practice.
